Hmmm...Jade Empire for the PC?

Jade Empire looks badass. The Xbox is shaping up to be a very nice console in it's maturity.

They are making Dragon Age exclusivly for PC instead, doubt Jade Empire will be on the PC... Since Dragon Age has been voted best of E3/best RPG, it cant be that much of a loss not having Jade Empire ;)

Just buy an xbox, there damn good..

What rubbish logic - both games are going to be excellent, and must haves for any rpg fan.

While Dragon Age looks to be your more traditional RPG (i'm really hoping for BG2 with fancy gfx, not NWN), Jade Empire boasts a unique setting, style, and more kung fu action/magic than you can shake a stick at.

I'm a massive Bioware fan and will definately get both games - but Jade Empire does look to have the edge in originality, and is the title i'm looking forward to the most.

The fighting alone sounds great - and a breath of fresh air for role playing games:

"Your opponents in the Jade Empire use a dizzying variety of styles, from the wild punches of a tavern brawler to the studied blocks of a master. Each style has advantages and drawbacks, and each represents a particular school of martial discipline. As a respected master, you have the chance to learn many styles and are not restricted to one in particular."

"But your true strength is the ability to switch styles during combat: strike with the lightning-fast attacks of the Legendary Fist and then crush your enemy with a bold assault from the Storm Dragon style."

(Personally, i'm going for Sumo (with a fat sword for backup :) )

The combat in KOTOR looked great. This is going to be amazing \o/

(who voted Dragon best of E3 btw?)

Lol, that's what they said about KOTOR and its combat too... It becomes repetitive after 5 moves, bleh.

Point is, the Xbox is still expensive. And despite both being "must haves", I will not buy an Xbox just to play a game.

And it was Actiontrip that voted it best of E3.

Besides, I only have to have a quick glance at the features to see why it will PWN your console game:

*Mod tools for great custom content

What do you mean by 'your console game' ?

Both games will be mine :)

Mod tools are a good thing - but so far I've yet to play a decent rpg mod. No matter how good Dragon Age look,s I can't help shake the feeling it'll be another NWN. Hopefully time will prove me wrong.
