Hmmm... Just had a thought about the Stolen HL2 code

Could the Stolen Half Life 2 source code/ engine compromise the upcomming Vampire: The Masquerade game? Since they are both built on the same engine, could hackers use the HL2 source code to hack the Vampire Game too?

Short answer is yes. If the Vampire game is going to have a multiplayer, then the same wallhacks/nethacks/whatever could be made to work with games based on the same rendering engine and allow people to cheat.

Will people stop pretending they're experts on coding. You have no idea about what can be done with the game.
