Anyone notice the complete lack of reason to ban me from that server that we were all playing on?

I overheard the enemy saying something about "Maybe we'll have a chance now" or something when I rejoined from being kicked, for "TKing" (By the way, I was a commander hiding somewhere on my carrier).

I just hope hl2net gets its own server :(

I was banned too, for TKing. I killed like 10 enemies that round and no team mates, maybe the admin was trying to bomb our carrier for free kills but I kept shooting him down with my leet skills and ego.

I remember the guy saying something like "If people don't switch I'll start kicking," as USMC was almost HL2.net only, with 24 vs. 17 or something similar.

I also heard "That HL2.net guy is back, ban him again." and "Looks like that HL2.net guy is back for revenge."

Most games I join end up HL2.net dominating over the other team due to an unbalance amount of people on each team. Then again there's nothing wrong with being a traitor and take down my fellow HL2.net. Come on what's wrong with HL2.net vs HL2.net?

There's nothing wrong with that, but it's not like we were the ONLY members on our team! Seriously, the admin picked us out of the fray because we were the best.

It's nice that you guys are the best(after being killed so many times by you guys), but sometimes there are games full of new people stuck on one side against you guys. One of the games I was in, all the MEC guys were camping at the main base waiting for vehicles to spawn instead of running off on foot. The commander weren't even issuing orders. Someone needs to teach them a few things(not me since I don't have the balls to do it).

Yes, it's a game, and there are winners and losers. If war was fair, we'd all be speaking German.

Someone's obviously in lack of a daily confidence injection!

I totally heard that. I was about to go on a rage against OldMan (the admin) but I was having too much fun with my sniper rifle :D.

Took two screenies from that game

Ennui posing for the camera:

This is comming from the guy who gets 1 kill 2 death ratios in CS:

One thing I'll admit is HL2.NET as a whole does usually diregard balance and stack teams. I'll usually just go to whatever team has less regardless of if the HL2.NET squad is on it, but a lot of the time it gets way unfair. The admin should switch people if it's a decent server though.

If you really want to improve the experience, teach other people how to play. It will force your own skills up, too.

Just playing to win... well, fine. At least stick to tournaments for it. It doesn't really count if you're winning against people who can't play, does it?

It's not like we were going against players with the skill of bots.

I think some people just flip out at any numerical imbalance, and unbalanced teams is something everyone should learn to adapt to.

I highly doubt the game is less fun when you're going up against unfair odds.

Peshmerga, face against death, as the Kurds put it!

Switching teams to balance it out is something everyone should learn to adapt to.

Unfair odds are one thing, being unable to win through sheer domination is another.

I had it far worse yesterday, a m-yg0t came in to our game, and there was no admin and you couldn't innitiate a votekick.

The votes required for a kickvote are outrageous.

And yeah Pi, obviously, I didn't mean unfair to the polar extremes :<

my-g0t already raging BF2 eh?

I've seen em at least twice on CS:Source.
