Yeah its ut2003 I just got some new maps and this one rocks!

I never found UT2003 very appealing. But I gotta admit, that looks stunning. That must be the work of an experienced mapper. Beautiful!

That is sweet, never knew that the ut2k3 engine could look so good but then again in one of the shots u can tell upclose the small branches it a flat texture.. but ur not gonna notice that when someones chasing ur butt down with a rocket launcher!!!!
 
The Fighting is awsome! The Guns are awsome! The Girls that flock to your computer to watch you play are awsome!

UT2003 Is what I set the standard in my eyes. I compare other frag fest games against. I find it very fun, fast pasted, good looking, and its not CS.
 
I looked at those first pictures and thought, "Man, who cares," but some of those later shots were awfully damn nice. I especially like that magma map (the image with the building in it). Really impressive stuff. Too bad UT2K3 doesn't do it for me, I need something more than frag 'em ups.
 
Yea i got that map pack earlier today havent tried them out yet, cliffy said that people are going to get hired because of that map pack, they definetly look of high quality.
 
THat lava map looks sweet, but I never really liked the original UT. Just never felt right. Yea, I was on the Q3 side of the UT/Q3 debate. Graphics still look sweet though. Are those maps fun to play, or do they just look cool?

Just played some and damn they kick so much ass! The map layout in each map is just perfect i swear it, they bring back the old ut2k3 feeling i got when i first booted the game up. Seriously though they are of very high quality, i would have easily mistaken them for something official-if not better.
The architecture itself is ****in amazing, it really inspires me to get more into unrealEd then i am now(and leave WC behind). Its great!

Question for thenerdguy: Do you know of any servers that are running this map pack??
 
I got the pack like 2 days ago, and still havent played all the maps, but by what Ive played, I must say that its brilliant!
 
i still dont get it, i've always asumed ut 2003 could handle those graphics, the lava ones look quite nice though.
 
So far the map are perfect! Game play is awsome! Lava mod play great at 1600X1200 with every thing maxed with 8XAA and 8XAF. :) The mappers had better get a job! Thease maps are of higher quality than the maps that came with UT2003.

I know of a few guys that are using some of the maps but give a few more days and it will be mainstream.
 
OK who downloaded the map pack? Anyone wanna multi play some time?
