Don't think it's meant to look realistic.

The only shot in that batch that is crap is the bit with the apartment room thing.. textures look awful, and the room looks too plain
 
I never really cared for this game... I played the predecessor for 5 mins.

But this looks really cool. That, and the fact I'm gonna play Morrowind and some people tell me this is a mix of Morrowind and a FPS?

Hello - it's a wallpaper, it's meant to be flat. The wall texture is fine with me, and if you think this is horrible, go stand right next to a tree or a flat wall in Far cry and tell what's better. Although, yes the floor texture is bland.

Otherwise, everything is very good, IMO.

I can't explain it, but these screenshots don't really impress me at all.
I've seen a lot about this game, but it really just looks okay-ish. Nothing exceptional.

shadows look whack, I mean on a flaming corpse enough light is being generated to nullify shadows... not that I've set fire to corpses..
 
I love the fire and water effects in source. They look so realistic.
 
i still fail to see why people get into morrowind,i started like 20 times now,an everytime i give up ,its too boring!...and i like rpgs.
 
that's the point, when your character gains more xp points, the more fun it gets. That's of course what I hear, but I'll try it again this evening

Only joking. I guess it depends, I was hooked the first time I played and now my character is level 28. Been playing for about a year now. :P Though, first half I had a guy, bro erased him, now I have a better dude. Point is, there's so much to do it takes forever. I love it, storyline isn't so deep as the history of the creatures and Morrowind itself.

Cool. I like the way the characters don't stick out too much from their surroundings like many other games.

He had a point too. Stalker looks a whole ton better than this game.
