Holy Sh.....

Interesting, but it's M. Night... it'll either be a hit or a miss... there is no in between.

The trailer I saw before Iron Man was rubbish - it started off with whatshisface talking about bees, then went onto about two minutes of people running around yelling WHATS GOING ON and a lot of stern people telling a room full of blank faces that ''we're under attack'' (omg terrorizm)

This trailer... well, at least it shows us what the folk is going on with the three stages thing. Honestly when I first saw it in the cinema I had no idea what they were trying to tell us.

lol'd at garden mower man, though.

Here is a scathing review with spoilers near the bottom if you are curious what the big deal in the movie is (note, you have to highlight the text so don't worry about getting spoiled accidently). I have to say, it makes me glad that this movie is as big a piece of garbage as the trailer made it out to be. I saw the preview while seeing Iron Man and a packed audience laughed when M. Night's name came up.

I will never pay to see anymore M. Night Shyamalan movies.

His movies are always shitty and he holds himself up to be the greatest writer of all time, which is bullshit.

what he said
i liked signs and he sixth sense but the village was horrible
im probably still going to watch it anyway

What? Haven't I seen this movie before? Like 10 times last year?

Ah, I've heard about this. I love the premise: virus or something that causes the host to commit suicide. Looks ****ing awesome.

Holy shit this movie looks ****ing wicked as hell. Will definitely pay to see people kill themselves in new and creative ways.

Read the spoiler too and WTF? That's the weirdest/stupidest thing I've read all week. M Night has really lost it.:rolling:

yeah, the 'twist' in this one is a bit funny and not HAHAAAAA funny, just odd. i'm a big fan of shyamalan and will give this a do just because i enjoyed his first 4 films a lot, including the village

i can't bring myself to watch lady in the water however because it looks like fairytale gash

i don't get how people don't give unbreakable the genius credit it deserves. the most freshly executed mainstream film i'd seen in a looooong time

I, for one, am looking forward to it. The only film of MNS's that I haven't liked so far was Unbreakable but every other one I thought was pretty darn good. Yes, even Lady in the Water.

Definitely won't let bad reviews put me off.

That review was hilarious, if nothing else. I think I would have found the trailer shocking had I not known the spoiler in advance. :p

I really liked Unbreakable too.
The sixth sense was good, then everything went downhill.......

I just remember seeing one of the trailers for The Happening and remembering how bad the acting was of that black-haired lady. Hell, all of their acting was average.

The sixth sense is his only real decent fiilm and shyamalan ran out of decent script idea's after signs. Maybe its time to start doing adaptations of existing works and scripts rather than writing original material...

I don't think any of his stuff is really all that bad, I'd rather watch pretty much anything he's made than a lot of other movies. Some of them do have some problems, but he definitely has his strengths as a director. I know that when I come out of the theater I'll at least be thinking about the movie for a while.

I enjoyed a few of his movies and this looks as though it could be interesting.

I really wanting to read the spoiler but ill pass. Ill probably go see this, if i have nothing better to do.

meh it'll probably get boring. the Signs was way to slow and subtle for my liking.

Agreed...I've not found a single one of his movies I enjoy.

I saw the trailer at the cinema today. It looks pretty cool, but when I saw it was Shyamalan, I was kinda doubtful. I hope it's good and has a decent un-predictable ending.

What is the "spoiler" exactly?

all he says is that marky mark explains how the toxin works and some slave house or something is involved, but I didn't see any twist

Also, lol at old man getting eaten by the lawn mower like "NOM NOM I GUNNA EATCHA"

Heh I always remember standing in the queue to see the Sixth sense with my flatmate at time, who was hyper eager to see it and in a moment of clarity said 'I bet the twist is Bruce is dead'. About 10 minutes into the film I remember him turning to me with a really pissed off expression on his face and saying 'You really are a complete son of a bitch' :E

I managed to see the trailer at the cinema with iron man and thought it looked kinda interesting and then I saw M. Night Shyamalan and i literal groan could be heard throughout the theatre I loled

Also good thing I won't see it judging from that spoiler o_O

gotta admit:
that does look intensely awesome

too bad Marky Mark's in it :(

Can someone tell me what the spoiler worth lol'ing at was? I read that article and didn't notice a twist or anything spectacular

The plants thing. More of an explanation than a twist, but kind of spoilery since it's implied it happens late in the movie.
