^Same. Frames were like the coolest thing ever. I want to say my backgrounds were more aesthetically pleasing though. But they probably weren't :p.
Then I stopped trying to make websites.
So everything I've ever made was ugly. Awesome.
 
Cascading Style Sheets had their official release in December of 1996 too. Heh.

Theres loads of this kind of stuff still hanging around on world news websites like BBC News, it's hilarious just going through all the old pages that were never updated/removed, especially the ones claiming something will fail which has actually taken off massively since.

Too bad the news on BBC is actually a few years older than this site. But still.
