the home button at the top of the forum page should imo link back to the main news page not the main forum page

'Home' refers to the forum home, just like the other links in that top bar refer to forum features. The banner however links back to the main news page.

I agree with them. Think of if the main site home button brought you to the forum homepage. It just is easier this way. Nice suggestion though.
