Hooking 360 up to Laptop

I dunno, I have an ethernet port on my laptop, and my laptop connects to my wireless router.. Maybe my laptop can only have 1 connection at a time?

Under network connections what do you see? If you have a wireless adapter and connect wirelessy as well as having an ethernet port the network connections screen has to show atleast 2 connections. If it doesnt one of your ports isn't working, at all.

Well I guess my ethernet port isnt working then, cause I only see the one wireless connection...

Appears so. But can you try just to be sure, plug it in to your router with a cable then disable the wireless. See if you got internet.
