Not quite as bad as that thread about pissing blood, but I have a question that I would like to ask the internet. And I know the answer is to see a doctor, and I will if it could be something bad, but i'd rather not if it's not a big problem.

So I've got this smallish red lump on my penis and it's painful if you put pressure on it. Kind of like a boil or something. Has anybody had something like this before and if so what was it?

I highly doubt that it's an STI as I am not a manwhore like some of you guys. It's been there for two days and I was waiting to see if it would go away but it's still the same and I kind of need my penis for stuff.

Seriously just see a doctor. Don't want to procrastinate whenever there's a problem down there.
 
Ok. I'm thinking it could be an insect bite or something.
 
At least go to a mens health forum dude, more chance in getting a half-decent answer there than some gaming community. :|

I did, but all I got was loads of descriptions of things it could be that were nothing like what I've got. I just wanted to see if anybody has had any experience of something like this and could give some advice. But I guess it's off to the doctor's.
 
In fact, I think it is okay if you don't have more than two spores.

Edit: What I really mean is go see the doctor, especially if its a she.

I've had a couple pimples on my penis, I think they just look worse than pimples normally do.

If it's not gone in a week call a doctor.
 
It's probably nothing bad, but like Miccy said, if it's not gone in a bit, don't be afraid to go to a doctor.
 
Just don't take Krynn's advice! Beacuse that would be painful and nasty!
 
I had a pimple on my penis once upon a time. It's a little different when they're on your face, to be sure. Quite uncomfortable.. If it's not gone it a bit, go see a doctor. If it does turn out to be a pimple, laugh about it. Possibly tell you future kids about it, look back at the pictures and recall fond memories you had together, yell about your long-lost penis zit to complete strangers in highly public places.

God, I miss my penis zit... :(

You can't get a planters wart on your dick, planters warts are on your feet.
And you couldn't even get a wart from your hand on your dick, they are two completely different forms of the virus.

If that is a wart on your dick, then you have genital warts
 
Hmm, sounds like a bite or pimple. Give it a few more days, and if it doesn't get any better, contact a doctor.
 
Sounds like... I forget what it's called, but it's just where a capillary bursts and then you get a small abscess full of blood that sort of sits there for a few days before healing.
 
Just bite your whole penis off. You will never get the problem again.

That is wrong, yet slightly arousing.
 
Could possibly be a blocked hair follicle, or a simple spot. I had something similar once (it had a white dot on it though), and got pissed one night and squeezed it till it popped. Hurt but was quite relieving.
Edit: And see a doctor if it doesn't want to be popped!

I've pissed blood a couple of times and it's not pretty.

Hope you get over what your going through...


Edit: Do you have a missus? What does she think :p lol
 
It could be VD. Have unprotected sex with someone and if they get the red bump as well then my diagnosis is correct. That'll be $200.
