NOT see the delay? If i'm correct, they delayed for localization purposes. how did they NOT see this? like, how did they think they were going to release it on the 30th? did they *forget* about making the game in different languages? lol, sounds odd to me... not trying to bash valve, just wondering.

no idea... im positively sure they saw it wayyy before they announced it

...kinda positive. hehe, i mean, its not like i work there or anything. but im not sure who wouldnt see it a week before the game is due for release

Well maybe the delay had a cloaking device. Maybe it was an "old" dead delay coming back as a ghost. Maybe they had nothing to do with the delay. Maybe just sometimes sh!t happens. Cmon people, Im not "happy" either but it happens. It was just a ooops. Repeat after me.
Duke Nukem Forever Duke Nukem Forever Duke Nukem Forever Duke Nukem Forever

tell me about it man, a week before release they were reassuring us that it was going to come out. wtf valve?

yea... people have good reason not to believe in Valve's word. i dont mean to bash them or anything, seeing how sooner or later ill be playing their game and most likely thinking that its the greatest game of all time, but im trying to think of once when they released a game on the original release date

They deceived us, they knew about the delay long before they told us.

Not necessarily. They may have thought it was going to be possible to get it out on time until very shortly before the original release date, and then decided to anounce it at the Tokeyo convention, before realizing they needed to get the news out ASAP through a press release. Just speculation.

im pretty sure they knew a week before that it was gonna be delayed.

well if they were trying to get it out on sept. 30th, and then a week before realize that they werent going to be able to...then that would mean that they would miss the date only by a little bit and it would still be releasing soon... im not saying that this is going to happen, it just seems that if they tried and tried up until the very last minute and realized it wouldnt happen, then they must be very very very near releasing it.

Pretty silly not to see a delay. Probably has to do with the Interplay lawsuit, and they are to busy to distribute the game, Those bastards

HL2 won't be so impressive if it comes out next year sometime.

Call of Duty looks to be shaping up nicely, and ON TIME also.

woot!
call of duty rules, and i'm as sick of WWII FPSs as the next guy, this one just has somethign special.

so two more months for languags? they worked 5 years and did not notice they need languages?
