How Did You Find out about Sex?

Sad that porn is so often the initial experience of intimacy. How many are hopelessly to that terrible business? I haven't escaped the noose myself, it's a struggle to keep myself away from it for long. I don't think we'll ever comprehend how much ruin it's brought to our society

I remember when we first got our internet, must have been middle school, I was doing research for a project. Went to whitehouse.com and it was just a bunch of porn. I wonder how many people had that as their first porn experiance.

Actually, this just reminded me. Anybody remember what used to be on whitehouse.com many years ago? I actually had a dream that covered the basics before my parents ever told me. I don't know when exactly. the first 10 years of my life have not clear timeline. I freaked out when they did (like any kid my age would) I was 8-10 I think. Shortly after I discovered the internet search engine (netscape... remember them?) and indulged my curiosity. I was too young to really "feel" anything. I was merely curious. Since then I've heard, read, seen, and found things that have both expanded my concept of sex and made me cringe and wish I could erase my memory. I've developed a healthy level of apathy to some of the horror that appear on the internet since then, and hopefully a healthy view of sex in general.

Oh god, I remember this too! Those drawings are a little horrific in retrospect, but at the time I thought it was hilarious.

Anyway, he told this joke where a kid was showering with his parents (or something to the effect where he saw them naked in an innocuous way) and innocently asked what their genitals were. They responded "That's daddy's limousine and mommy's garage". It was more wordy but that's the basic gist. The punchline is later the kid wanders in while they are showering together and exclaims something about Daddy parking his limousine in Mommy's garage.

I overheard basically the same joke when I was 7 or 8, although "limousine" was replaced with "car." I put two and two together, thought it was strange, and then went back to being a kid.

This isn't when I learned of sex, but I had this biology class in grade 6. We didn't have like one class that was about sex ed, but rather it was tied into a couple classes. Well, the bio class obviously was sort of relevant so we learned some "sex" stuff in there, and they had this software where images of a man and woman were standing there with only fig leaves on, and it explained some shit about sex and human physiology. All that is irrelevant though, because the best part about the software was that our teacher sucked at computers whereas we were being raised around them and knew how to use them better than her. We managed to unlock the parental controls and remove the fig leaves and got just see the nude people and everyone rejoiced.

Also, again in that same class, we watched a documentary on African tribes. Some good knockers in that vid, but the part that I remember most was where this guy was just walking past the camera in the background pissing. Like, walking and pissing at the same time, all nonchalant like while his feet stepped into his own piss. I think I was the only person who saw it because I was the only one who busted out laughing and got yelled at for being inappropriate.
