How do I hook up a I-pod?

yeah it is and I have firewire next my USB port but Windos wont do anything when I hook it there

Take the one end, plug it into the player.
Take the other end, plug it into the computer.

If it doesn't fit (either too small or too big), don't switch it around, just jam it in there until it fits.

On hardforums.com (a computer techie/nerd forum), this guy need help with his CPU. He posted that he clearly thermal pasted it good, but it still doesn't work.
