the colered gridding, its only when I move close to a selected brush that is does this.

Also anyone know of a video tut. on lighting.

were the large red arrow button is .. over it there is a grid and 3d grid buttons turn off the 3d grid button

Hah, I did the same thing once. I think there's a button you can hit too. Like a number.
