How Do I Use Turbo?

I want to accelerate to jump a big ramp but don't know how to use the turbo boosters to get the extra speed,

Shift.

They tell you how it's done on the side of your screen when you first acquire your buggy, and I'm pretty sure it states it as well in the options>keyboard screen.

I've tried Shift without result. How do you do it? I held it down as I sped and also tried using it at the last moment before the jump but no luck!

Did you change your sprint key?
or are the sprint keys and car boost keys separate?

Do you have a sprint key?

Check your options menu.

Click options, then keyboard, then find the Key configuration for Sprint.

It should be shift.

How did you manage to play the game without sprint? There are some areas in the game that requires you to take a run up.

Got it now Flamingdts and Stealth. It was given as Shift key but bound to ' so I have rebound it. Also its called the sprint key which is confusing when you are looking for turbo!
