Play steam games with out steam?Im going to take my computer to my relatives house and they dont have internet.

I'm afraid you cannot play any Steam games without Steam, it's a necessary requirement. However you have an alternative. Steam has an 'offline' mode whereby you can play certain games offline.

ok but now it says this error failed to connect to any genarel direct server winsock error 10022 "invalid argument" when i try to start steam with out internet.

"Offline mode" doesn't last all that long anyway -a few weeks at best- and as for getting Steam games to run without Steam at all.... well that would be getting around copy protection, and as such is illegal in most countries. Hence why it says right there on the system requirements "internet connection required", and not "well, an internet connection would be good, but don't worry if you don't have one...".

Aren't you supposed to set something in Steam settings to play in offline mode? I've never done it before, so I'm no pro.
