I dont play a lot of games, but i do like to listen to music (trance, hardcore, movie/game music) so i need some power.

Its great for games too

I doesnt matter if you have the most riduculously expensive surround sound system in the world, it's still pretty useless when trying to figure out where the footsteps are comming from.

And if you have 2 speakers - forget it. I laught my ass off every time I see someone turn their back in a MP game when it f*cking obvious the enemy is about to rush through the door.

I have my audigy 2 hooked into my Marantz stereo, its pretty powerful but old and worn down. That way I can switch between using the speakers or Sennheiser HD 200 headphones by pressing my remote control the perfect setup IMO.

BTW I use my headphones when my parents are sleeping and when playing online. Am using headphones right now

Awesome mic, really cheap price, but I've never had a problem with them.

Make sure to get headphones with good bass output. If you don't have good bass it's pretty much worthless.

This is more what I was looking for , I like the sound muffling around the ears , I had an old set like that but they were huge. It blocks out all other sound , puts you all the way in the game. THanks nw9 , I like those too , nice and sleek. And of course I need bass Lone , what would shooting a gun be without the bass of the shot.. :drool:

I'd like a 5/6/7.1 system, but i don't want all them wires lying around.
There aren't any wireless setups yet right? I've been looking around a bit.

And being deaf would suck.
