Oops, didn't read the entire option :P

Fraud
Yeah, it was sort of a joke. It blatantly goes against most agreements (possibly every one) from ad services that generate ad revenue. For example, it makes up the largest portion of the adsense program policies page.

I got a job paying 7.25 under the table, manual labor. That payed for my entire rig (except for the hsf).

I doubt anybody's actually gonna admit to being a cornucopia kid.

somebody voted in that catagory ...hmmm I wonder who? ...it's that Stern kid!! he's spoiled rotten

Where's the option for pocket money :P I paid for my graphics card with that too.

I was hoping for the option of Full Time job, bills are expensive, so gotta buy good games, so warez the ones that aren't work the money.

Yeah, I'm kinda lucky. I'll be getting it until I'm 18.

Total: 36,900/2
Spending total: 18,450.

I'm at school, but I work about five months out of the year. I squirrel it away and dish it out as good stuff hits. I really only buy the exceptional though, with the very occasional splurge.

I wouldn't mind working during the hols, but you can't really get a job here until you're 16.

where's the option for part time work, full time student???

I just assumed if you were a part time worker you were also a full time student? why else would someone remain a part time worker?

Well we have to play the games we bought sometime don't we  :p

Birthday and christmas presents mostly. My brother owns and pays for the single WoW account that I use as well (We just take turns playing). I havn't actually bought any new games with my own money since I pre-ordered Half-Life 2.

Learn web programming ;) Been at it since I was 14.

I get about one game a year, as gifts. My cousin got me Age of Empires 2 for Christmas once, and Return to Castle Wolfenstein another year. My parents got me the AOE2 expansion pack for Christmas. Half-Life 2 was a combined Christmas + birthday gift from my sister :P.

Other than that, I just play really old stuff that I used to have a long time ago. DoomII, Blood, Descent, Populous.... shareware Commander Keen!! I also play Atari games on an Atari emulator :o.

I think I'll get FEAR, COD2, and AOEIII though, whenever they get down to $20. Maybe in six months...

I put warez, but in actual fact I download the games, realise there's not enough room on my HD to install them, then delete them.

Last game I actually bought I think was HL2. That's the only game(s) installed on my HD too :D

I used to borrow a lot of games from friends/relatives. I usually only download demos and then delete them. On rare occasion will I go out and buy a game.

My computer is too old to run recent games anyways so I'm thinking about getting a job at compusa so I can afford an upgrade at a cheap price too.
No point in buying games when you can't get decent performance at minimum settings. :|

Parents will pay for two games a year, one for the summer one pre-holiday season, I pay for the rest.

I had economized almost 2,000$ CDN in my younger years from my allowances, then I bought this computer 2 years ago... never upgraded it and never bought games. I had some games throughout Christmas and my birthdays. I haven't had any part time job, because I'm concentrating on my education and my social life... but this winter, I'll probably apply somewhere, since I really need money for my following educational courses.

I warez time to time

My parents give me allowance of about $10 a month. I save it all, never using it except once in a while (like a year or so) I go and buy a game.

Every game I have is copied, my harware is cheap but reasonably relaible, why? because gaming is far too expensive unless game developers lower there prices by at least 70% I will keep copying games. I know 70% is a lot but games cost far too much at there current prices.

And considering 75% of the games comming out are worth $5..yeah, they are too expensive. I'd pay the $50 for like HL2 or FEAR or somethign like that, good games. Otherwise no.

I qualified from uni with a pharmacology degree just over a year ago, now i have a full time job as a research assistant for a pharmaceutical company. I live in london, renting a place, so i support myself.

I tend to buy most of the decent games that come out, most i complete and get my moneys worth, but i have to admit to the odd impulse purchase which gets thrown aside. Spent the first year splurging all of my money, but have now settled down and starting saving for when it is needed for the more important things in life.

:)

I sell children to afford my gaming habit. Its more like an addiction now though.

I work my ass off every summer, plus some random weekends. I buy hardware with this, and maybe some random game. Most of the games I buy are christmas or birthday presents :P I dont really buy other than the really good games. Others... well, I wouldnt have bought them anyway.

Hey, I didn't say it was my sperm.

Wow, so you give handjobs to donate to buy video games.

...

...

That's ****ed.

Anyone else gotten really into buying used games? I started this with my movies and have carried it over to games. Its amazing what you can get for your cash, and most of them are almost brand new. I don't care if some idiot had it for a month and sold it back, it'll still work just as well.

Yeah, I got F.E.A.R second hand, but brand new and unopened :)

Well PC games are a little more rare, since they usually have CD keys, but its a treat for console games.

I won't buy used PC games due to the CD Key issue... I'd like to play online just in case ;P
