Simple poll, what is your internet connection? I have verizon FiOS, extremely fast, but waaaay too expensive.

Whoever is still on 28.8k or 56k needs to DIAF. Seriously, those two speeds are terrible and need to be abolished.

I go with wireless.

Because nitrogen in the air is a better conductor than copper wire.

Through a highly-modified high-density crystal-light cable plugged directly into the back of my head just below the cranium into the brain stem.

DSL, but I'm going to switch to Cable soon because they're running on FiOS.

I just wish that North American ISPs would wise up and start charging us what the access is actually worth. Japan and Sweden have got it right.

Supposedly cable, but it likes to disconnect at random about 0-50 times/day... so I'm obligated to choose the "I don't know" option.

ADSL 2.2mb/s with Bulldog. Overpriced, but uncapped and I'm off to Uni soon so it's not all that bad.

Cable @ 10mbps
Soon to be 20mbps :D (or was it 50? I hope!)

fiberoptic cable 10 mbits

soon to be 20 M/bits! D: when i get the free upgrade muhahahah

Cable.

Only other options in my area are DSL and 56k.

And satellite is for criminals.

I think wireless is just as bad, especially when playing online.

Currently im on an 8mb cable connection at Uni (though restricted - lots of ports are blocked, cant even run ***king skype..the bastards..thank god Steam works), 10mb in Uni itself, 2mb wireless at home.

4mbit Cable, getting 10mbit when I get my new house in August :D

At home, it's 8mbit ADSL

I have 8\2 MB ADSL connection. But for some reason it's not as fast as it should be in gaming. My comp's probably swarming with spyware

20mbit/1.5mbit :( want more upload.. but hey i only pay 25$ a month for it :)

I can live with that

ADSL2+ 10mb/1mb. Get really sharp pingtimes as well.

EDIT:

I'm seeing ghosts, please help. :(

Well my computer picks up a wireless lan signal from the computer down stairs. That computers connects via 56k. Yes 56k. There is nothing better around here. Suck's balls.

you'd probably get some nice cash if you sold it somewhere, like a museum or something

ADSL 1mb hopefully upgrading to 2mb soon.

Wireless in the house though, so that probs changes things gaming wise

True. But then I wouldn't have the internet.

2mb, but with a router for 2 wireless desktops and my Vaio, which is always moving about. Wireless never dies on me, and speed everywhere in my house is fine. I don't see why people don't like it, IT'S THE FUTURE.

Glenn said it best. My wireless is perfect as of now. I can play games on it, download large files, etc.., and it stays strong.
Before my internet would completely shut off because of the modem, but now we have a new one and the internet is flawless.

Wireless is going to rule the world in 2011. Thats what causes us to eshplode in 2012.
