Nice case. Too nice if you're shooting for low price.

>>Lite-On 52X32X52 Internal EIDE CD-RW Drive Black, Model
>>Lite-On 16X DVD-ROM, Model SOHD-167T Black, RETAIL
Instead of spending $51 for 2 drives, get a combo drive. Better yet, spend $25 more and get a DVD burner.

>>ZALMAN CNPS7000A-Cu Pure Copper CPU Cooler for AMD XP Socket
Way too much for a low priced cooler. You can get a <25db cooler for under $20.

>>Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series, (Twin Pack) 184 Pi
You can get good quality, barely slower memory for $50 cheaper. You might lose 1 fps -- but if cost is an issue...

>>MSI "K8N Neo2 Platinum" NVIDIA nForce3 ULTRA Chipset
I like MIS and I like this chipset. There may be a cheaper version of the k8n neo2 that will fill your needs.

>>Antec 430W Power Supply, Model "TRUE430"
Decent deal. You could probably go cheaper and still get a good quality PSU. Don't dip into the "bargain" psu bin however. not worth it.

>>CONNECT3D ATI RADEON 9800PRO Video Card, 128MB DDR, 256-bit,
Go with an nvidia 6800 (plain) instead. I currently have a 9600XT and ATI is still behind on drivers.

you're always too mean, elephant boy.

yeah that's a good price for those components, you should go for it. it's almost identical to mine >=]

Doh, guess I didn't C&P the case, but no, I didn't forget it. It's the Thermaltake Bastion posted. Thanks for all the advice all, still don't have the money to buy it yet, but I should ~soon~

Are you serious?

I paid 4600$ for my system..... and still, CS doesn't run smooth when nades are kicking physics ;)

$4600!??!?!

Holy god...slip some cash my way :naughty: :p

Ya know what really sucks is that I've been waiting for HL2 for about a year. And just a couple of months ago I realized that I won't even be able to play it because my video card is teh shit. <---genius
