How have games affected your life?

In all fairness though, being interested in something does not say anything about how smart an individual is.

Well, if I hadn't had that interest in history, I probably wouldn't have studied it, therefore I wouldn't have as much knowledge on the subject as I have now.

if it wasn't for videogames i would not have explored my love of artwork (namely reading through my uncle's warcraft manuals and looking at the pretty pictures)

nor would i have wanted to become a concept artist, which is what i am attempting to do now

I had no idea what I wanted to do. But now I have a real interest in programming, within the game industry.
I'm fascinated by how these worlds are created.
