How is this site constructed?

Im going to be making my own misc site soon and i was wondering how this site is made?

I relise the forum is built on Vb also i think the site is a modified version of php nuke am i right?

Munro made it with cardboard and sticky-back plastic.

Munro has completely coded the website and the pages himself. The news system however has been coded by our wonderful Starmonkey in PHP and it links all up to the forums too.

As far as I'm aware, apart from a server side application for creating thumbnails for the pictures we upload using the news script and the vBuletin forums - there is no third party code used on the site.

Why does everyone think anything using PHP is using PHPNUKE :|

It's pretty much all HTML coded with PHP header/footer templates. The news page uses a custom PHP script by StarMonkey that grabs the data from the forum database and displays it on that page. I don't use any content management systems like PHPNUKE I just rely on good ol' FTP.

when i saw the main page layout i assumed it was phpnuke :/

looks kinda snazzy tho i may have to delve into learning php somtime
