That art book looks sweet. Yeah, the HL2 CE was prtty much crapped together thoughtlessly imo. Valves not typically "cheap" when it comes to thier fans, so I was a little shocked by how terribly cheap the CE was.

yup they give both, and the regualr retail version is also in a cd case and not paper sleves

while the steam gold package is a decent CE, I don't think any game CE has ever matched up to anything blizzard has done for CE's.

link does not work, however EBgames lists the CE edition of WoW as $80, not $100... I can't seem to find an official word on the price however, and I think I may just pick up the CE version of WoW, it has a lot of cool stuff in it (the art alone is pretty well worth it)

I feel the exact same, and I too have had my fare share of MMOs

WoW is THE MMO to play.
if I had to recommend a game to someone who only had enough cash for one game this year, it would be WoW. (Hl2 is the greatest fps ever, but once you play through it... its a long wait for mods)
