How many days do you think the hype will..

start to come ? remember when doom 3 was couple of days away it got big with people posting pictures of the doom 3 box art and stuff, so when do you think the hype will start, how many days before release ? We are only 15 days away now folks :cheers: cant believe its actually happening.

Around 3-6 days before release the forums will really start buzzing. About the 14th people will start receiving their pre-orders and the forums will go absolutely nuts, with hundreds of people asking the lucky few more questions than you can shake a hickory stick at.

It has to be registered on Steam before you can play it, and you wont be able to register before the 16th, so no, you have to wait until the 16th no matter what.

Nope, because retail needs activation over the net just like anything else. Activation will not be possible untill the official date (Emails valve to confirm this)

I probably wont be around here when it happens, nor do I care about it.
I havent got it of steam, and I didn't preorder it either. I think i'll wander by the store once its unlocked to see if they got it, and if they dont, i'll walk by again after a couple of day.

Dont really see what the fuss is all about.Don't get me wrong, Im also looking forward to it, but not so much that I want to play it the damn second it comes out.

Its not like a movie premiere where you can see the stars, you're just sitting in your drafty attick alone, some moment you hear 'ping' and you can start playing your game.
