I have, for as long as I can remember. It makes me wonder WHY I have known for so long...I know there are others, care to share?

I told my parents when i was little that i knew i'd see the end of time for humanity

true story

He said with pale irises and a glazed far away look in his eyes.

The resources you collect are of value to the Bentusi Exchange.

there is no end. only a beginning. also if you die just remember you'll reassemble some of your atoms somewhere else and you'll be a completely different entity for all eternity.

People have been believing they were living close to the end of days, for a long, long time.

It's never come yet. You will die of old age before it comes most likely.

And it will only ever come from worldwide nuclear holocaust.

When I die, humanity dies.
This is not solipsism but nuclear weapons.

Human civilization on the Earth will end at some point between 2060 and 2100*

* may or may not be based on evidence from a fictional universe.

Solipsism. Now there's a ****ing interesting thing I never heard of before. Even though I have contemplated it I didn't know there was a name for it.

It was the basis of the film the fountain, but not many people saw that

And besides; one story finishes, another begins

I'm sorry, i'm confused.

/me trips and falls whilst trying to get on the bandwagon

I never understood why the end of the world was such a significant occurrence, either way you die.
I don't see how it's important whether you die together at once, or alone.

the "end times" as in the apocalypse? the last judgement by jesus as prophised in books for the weak minded and guilible like Left Behind and the Bible?

End times?, I still remember when I realized the world existed before me, man that was some crazy shit...

Edit: I'm serious, I can remember that moment.

For most, the survival of your legacy or your species is much more scary than your own demise. Just think. Millions of deaths, natural and in war. For what? For it all to end? Then why the **** did we make all these things?

There's really no difference for you? You wouldn't mind if your life ended prematurely due to the end of the world? In, let's take the currently most popular date, 2012? Cause I'd rather live much longer.

i find dying with everyone more satisfying than dying alone. if we're all going to die at once we're pretty much share one major thing in common at once besides just being human/dwarf

If you die alone, where are all your loved ones?

Q.E.D.

Why do things always have to make sense for people to be satisfied with their existence and life endeavors?

I die during the most significant moment in the history of Earth? That's something.

You most likely would not know the exact time at which the earth ends, and you most certainly would probably not remember it because you would be dead.

I'm not sure why my question was self absorbed, I'm just making the point that people have the strangest concerns.
Of course I would like future generations to have the opportunity to exist, and if we can, take preventative measures from the Earth being destroyed but if it is a certainty, something like 2012... what would it matter?

This would be my only concern, ever. How would our own non-existence affect those we knew, or those we could have known were we to live longer.

You don't know shit. Tool is a great band though.

He's got the power, man, you just don't understand.

The world better not be ending anytime soon. The way I see it - we just gotta keep ourselves alive for another couple of decades before medical science extends our lifespans...indefinitely? D:

Because making overpopulation even worse is an awesome idea.

And I saw, and behold, a pale horse: and he that sat upon him, his name was nofreeman; and Hell followed with him.

Knowing something does not mean it's right.

I can't wait for the zombie apocalypse. That shit's gonna be fun.
