How many people bought HL2?

i bought one of the video cards that came with the "mail in rebate for free copy of half-life 2", but as of yet have not recieved my copy - i also bought a copy for $55 for from walmart the day it was released because i couldnt wait for the copy being mailed to me - but it was buggy as hell and caused a shi+ load of other problems on my pc - then a friend burned me a copy of the warez version which played smooth as silk... so it cost me $250 to get the game, and in the end the copy i didnt pay for is the only one that works...
