How many times do you check for Half-Life 2 news? The forums, news page other sites all that.

I check everytime 1-2 mins when im on the computer. Im guessing about 50-60 times a day. :O
 
2 or three times a day unless I am expecting something.
 
i check once or twice per day. but i usually check for about 5 hours at a time
 
My PC checks every 1 minute using the HL2.net RSS feed, although the RSS is prolly only updated every 5 mins. So I just get the thread titles pop up like msn sign ins and I click on ones I like :)
 
wow you must be some giant nerd eh? i check 1 time a day or more.

more times between checking i mean not more than 1 time a day. i mean its news on a website and unless that website is mofokin cnn.com the shit isnt gonna be changing much after the 1 daily update.

I'm unemployed so I just sit here bouncing from sight to sight all day long. I dont even break to eat. It's kind of like those people that get way to into everquest and spend every waking hour playing it. cept I'm way dorkier because I'm well, spending every waking hour checking for hl2 news. I'd say that I check an average of 150 times a day these last few days.
 
3-4 times a day now that it looks like the gears are getting back into motion again.

Yeh but can you get the Live Bookmarks to give you notifications on new threads ect? I havent seen an option for it.
 
Around 4-7 times a day. The computer can be occupied by my two brothers sometimes though. ;(

Oh.. no it doesn't.. but I loathe pop-ups! When you view the bookmark it updates realtime. So everytime you open it up,, it is up to date.
 
1-2 times... Once when I get out of school and once just before I go to sleep. :)
 
At least twice a day, but after 10pm I tend to stay on until I collapse (or until I actually decide to play a game instead of browsing forums about them). I need to get a life- I'd accept one that's second hand.
 
it is set to my homepage and i check it bout every half hour so .... i voted 10-20 ..... i check it a lot .... but it pays off since most of my friends always ask me for latest HL2 news since they know im hooked up to all the HL2 newz

None of the options in your poll. I never go out my way to check HL2 updates, though HL2.net is my load up page so i rely on the mod's here to keep me informed as its right there when i open firefox up. They do a good job though rarely anything interesting about HL2 pop's up. When i see a release date as i open firefox then i'll get excited but till then HL2 isn't bothering me.

Its also the reason why i barely ever post in this section of the forums. Its always useless threads and i'm not saying this thread's useless because if it was i would'nt off looked :p but in general its a page of speculation and questions on things fans can't possibly know. I just stick to my general gaming and off-topic forums. ;)
 
I check every Monday and Friday. Some of you are way too impatient.
 
I refresh the forums every minute I'm on them, and I check the mainpage for news every 5 minutes I'm on the computer.. This probably makes it about 100 times a day. I seriously need a life..
 
Well I come to the forums like 50 times a day but it usually isn't specifically to check news because if there is any then I know I will see it by just glancing at what is being posted after pushing the "new posts" button.
 
i dont look at the news page that much, im prolly on this forum like...... 10-20 times a day...
