How many times have you played Half Life 2?

well? I played it once, but sadly played the first couple chapters so much when i was completing the game, that when i came back to it,I didn't have the will to play it again. Otherwise I would have played it atleast 4 times on easy, medium and hard etc

for it to be "fresh" when I play it again. Unfortunately there are a lot of memorable
moments in the game to try to get out of my head.

If all goes according to plan though, I should have it finished for the second time

I always make an attempt to complete without cheats but I freak out at Ravenholm and start all over. Furthest I ever made it without cheats was near the end of Highway 17.

The only cheat worth using is bullet time...and noclip in Garrysmod, but I don't think that really counts.

Twice. I tried to make it more interesting by spawning Barneys everywhere that will do the shooting for me, but meh.

Does anyone know how to spawn resistance fighters that follow you? And while I'm here, does anyone know how to make one of them a medic?

My birthday's coming up on the 18th, so I might get some new parts for my computer (I'll have to ask about some stuff in the hardware section). Then, when ATI brings out their new card, I'll get that. Then I'll beat Half-Life 2 all the way through again with all the new sexiness the parts will supply.

However, Aftermath might be out by then.

Yes, I liked that chapter a lot. I'm still not sure why so many people hated it. And running out of ammo on it is silly; use the gravity gun and crowbar as much as you can, like carry flamable tanks with you and such.

I've done it completely 4 times. once on each difficulty, once with lots of cheats and phyics alterations. and i've played bits and chapters here and there. Now i'm doing it completely for a 5th time on normal again at highway 17 after downing the gunship at the RPG van road block.

One thing I love about the game, this is the 5th or 6th time i've really gone through ravenholm, and the fast headcrab zombies still give me the shivers when they moan and scream when they charge me. I still get the "oh shit" thing and aim my shotty badly in a panic. lol.

I'm being serious when i say that there has only been maybe a couple times when i havnt played HL2 everyday since it came out, whether it be just for 5-10minutes, i been on like 2 vacations so those cant count cuz i dont have a laptop, but i kid u not im so obsessed with this game i play it everyday, like its a must in order to live

Countless times. I lost track, but definitely up to 20, if not more. And all that because I played it about two times with a pirate version of the game, which was bugged, then I got a newer pirate version and played it 2-3 times. Then I got a new video-card, and played it even more. After I got a legal copy of Half-Life 2, I played it again. Thoroughly.

Finally, I got a new PC a month ago. Two more times to the record. What can I say - I love Half-Life 2.
