How many times you been in a car accident?

Yesterday afternoon gives me a great idea for another random off-topic thread


How many times have you been involved in a car accident, your own fault or someone elses.

Two weeks after I got my license, I smashed up somebody elses car pretty good. See, there was a spider in the car and I freaked out, and didn't see that the light had changed. Oops.

I learned my lesson tho. Only accident I ever caused.

Was in a car with some friends and my friend spun out and slammed into a light pole and the curb. Ironically, it happened right infront of a gas station / vehicle maintenance facility. I was a rainy day.

I have never caused or been in an accident (I've come really close about 2 times though).

Twice. Once as the driver, my own fault. Speeding.
No other vehicles involved, but one building got well hammered. I got my moneys worth from my insurance that day, let me tell you.

Other time as a passenger. Combination of speeding and bad weather. One other car involved, driver of the vehical I was in at fault.

No serious injuries in either incident.

Currently 7 years accident free on the road

never. a friend of mine was able to crash a car just 1 hour before taking his driving exam. He braked at an orange light but forgot to check his rear view mirror. If h'd done that, he would have seen the BIG ASS Shell Truck only inches away from his bumper...

Major accidents... once. My sister was driving and some crazy guy just sped up and hit us and then drove off. :|. I was sitting in the backseat, left side closest to where it hit, but strangely enough, everybody was feeling achy and kind of getting whiplash except me.

And this isn't an accidents issue, but the old car used to shut down everytime it rained really hard, so I can remember at least 3 times when it was raining and I was late to school or couldn't get home from school because we'd be stuck in the car. Then a few hours later it would work again.

Once as a passenger when I was around 4 or 5. Although it was really only the car going into a ditch, not much of an accident.
