I've been going strong on 3 days a week for 4 or 5 months now, using a bowflex, I can curl up to 50 resistance doing 20 reps...

How much do you work out, if any?

350 pushups a day, as well as training exersizes.required for my job.

At work I push atleast 700 pounds of shopping carts, but they are on (poorly turning) wheels, so I don't know how much it'd equal to.. I also do it all day, I maybe push them for about 10 minutes, then stop (to walk outside to get more), then start again.

I usually do this atleast 3 days a week.

Yes.. I only get $9 an hour for that, by the end of the day I'm wrecked..

well, im wrecked by the end of my day to, but i get ?450 an hour.in dollars thats $900.

Well, I'm in a union and get benefits, and basically am immune to getting fired (someone stole $3000 a while back, and got fired, then the union fought and got her her job back, she also got to keep the money), plus it's year round, so it's not a summer job or anything. I also get raises every 500 hours.

Thus far my Stamina is really low... I can sprint for about a minute and a half, which takes me pretty far, but when our alien overlords take over I'll be ****ed. D:

cool.in a year or to, im getting promoted and get ?600 ponds/$1200 an hour!!

They don't pay you that much in the navy or whatever the hell he's in. Either that or he works like 1 hour a week. If you made that much, eveyone would join the army and stay in for as long as possible to get freaking rich.

The most I've ever heard anybody is making is $100 an hour (that I've met) so that can't be right. Maybe I'd believe it if he said $12 an hour, but $1200? Cmon... You'd have all the money in the world after 3 years...

Maybe his . key doesn't work, I'd believe a raise 6 pounds/12 dollars an hour, 1200? Whatever, in a year you'd be a millionaire.

Yes because your average serviceman makes 2.5 million a year. Blow it out your ass.

Anyway, I work out every other day.

you forget im in england, my money is doubled in america, plus im a high rank.(Brigadier) in the UK army.so 1 more promotion and ill be a Maj General.

Cool. Suppose that's why you aren't using proper grammar.

Just kidding. ;)

But I really have a hard time believing this tall tail you tell.

really?just what do you find so hard to believe?i love half life so here i am.(yes, i know i should grow out of games by 36!)

Well, the idea that you are a general in a very large army is very far-fetched, being that you are on the internet, on a gaming forum, with few posts, and improper use of grammar. I would expect someone of a high rank in the army would know how to space after each sentence in the very language they speak.

I'm just saying, btw. I have no idea one way or the other, so really what i just said has no baring on you, but lets please get back on topic. If you want to talk about your wage then see the topic below this one.

what makes you think everone pays attention in english??Plus, its not llike it really matters.and im not a general, and Maj Genral issnt one either, its 2 ranks below general, which i will never get to because we already have to damned many.oh, and the reason im not bothering with grammar is becasue this is a forum.

I work out about 3 times a week at most, but I ride my bike around 4-5 times a week. Sometimes I forget for a while, luckily though, I manage to keep my "build" (If you can call it that lol) for a long period of time without lifting weights or doing sit ups.

I wish I knew some more exercises though.

I used to lift weights a lot, but since I started running, I've just been... running..... a lot.

i used to be really unfit at 18..you know, full couch potato?i nearly died in the first year of training exersizes.seriously, it nearly kiled me.

I used to go to the gym 4 times a week until I hurt my shoulder. I primarily stuck to lifting weights too, since I have a lot of other issues too. I'm going to take inventory of my injuries, and why I have been slacking for the past month:

- Shin splints (shin bones loaded with scar tissue. Physio helped though)
- Rotator cuff problem (it hurts to sleep on my left shoulder)
- Micro Fractures in my Fibula - it hurts to walk up hills
- High ankle sprain back in May set me back a good month, and both ankles are usually swollen on a regular basis after playing way too much tennis
- Tight hamstrings
- Tight calf muscles
- Tight thighs so that when I ride a bike it gives me pain my thighs

I got an injury about 8 months ago and lost about 20 pounds since then. Shoulder injury, kinda limits any upper body workouts.

I've been ready to get back to lifting again for a few weeks. Really, I've been thinking about it all day and plan to do it in a few hours. I have to get something to eat right now.

I'd like to put on 25 pounds by spring, but I'll probably only get 15 or 20.

I think i actually pulled something when I worked out yesterday. (Too many butterflies, probably. I didn't count them, which isn't good.) Under my arms hurts, and I can't tilt my head to the right because it hurts. The left side of my neck is hard as a rock, while the other side is rather soft.

Not nearly enough.

Really starting to step it up lately though, and am eating properly. Exercising makes me feel ****ing fantastic, and I always love the muscle burn both during and the days after. Makes me feel alive.

So hopefully I keep it up and keep doing my weight lifting and other exercise.

About 3-4 times a week. Mostly lifting...cardio makes me die a little inside.

It shows discipline, and that is why you will never be a Major General.

Me too. I'm trying to get muscular, but I usually jog for 5 minutes about once a week. It really gets the blood pumping, and helps me burn off a lot of steam, and that's why I only do it once a week. It feels good though.

Every two days for almost four years. I take a week break every 6 months or so...

Hate the gym. Would rather do other active stuff thats... less artificial.

Why? You can carry a jug around for pissing, easy. Use book pages to wipe when you go poop, then just put the cap back on, and there, no smell! Now you don't have to get up at ALL.

So, Earthdeath, full of shit?

Yes, I think so.

Watch out he might get his army buddies to shoot up your house while airstriking your house with his harrier.
