If I were to sell this tower (no moniter or anything) how much money do you think I could get if I put in in the paper or made a deal online? Its a dell (Maybe I should hide that ;-) )

P4 2.53ghz processor
512 MB (256x2) RDRAM
80 Gig Hard-drive (I think its 7200rpm but im not positive)
Soundblaster Live! Value Sound Card
Geforce 4 Ti4200 64mb Graphics Card
DVD Drive
CD/CD-RW Burner
Floppy Drive (ooohh ahhhh)

Of course it would be re-formatted w/ the drivers updated so it'd be all fresh just so that whoever buys it doesn't have to go through the hassle.
No I'm not selling it soon, this is just for me to get a general idea of how much this could be sold for since Im considering buying a nice new one :)

almost exactly what i have! i wouldn't pay more than $400, but some n00b might be willing to pay more :D

Why buy a new one? Buy new bits and build one. Thats what I did with mine. Mind you the only original bits are the cd/dvd/floppy/hd drives, but build it yourself, unless your loaded.

Yeah, I'd sell the RAM/CPU/Mobo/Card and keep everything else.

What about;
Ms-6323 Socket 470
866MHZ Coppermine CPU
384MB 133 SDRam

?

P4 2.53ghz processor =£60 - £100
512 MB (256x2) RDRAM = £120 or so
80 Gig Hard-drive =you can get a new one for £40
Soundblaster Live! Value Sound Card =£10 if your lucky
Geforce 4 Ti4200 64mb Graphics Card =£30 or so
DVD Drive = these are £18 new
CD/CD-RW Burner= these are £16 new
Floppy Drive = these are £8 new...

Considering that when RDRAM was lauched 128mb would cost you about £450+, the price has really dropped through the floor.
As for the cpu, I'd say about £60 or so since there £120 new.
So your looking at a maximum sale of about £260 -£280, You may get £300 if your lucky.
