How old u think Gordon is?

Gordon is definately still 27.

Alyx was taken out when she was a baby (still in a cradle I think). So I say she is around 23-27.

But the real question is, how old is Kleiner? I swear he looks exactly the same in Half Life. Maybe, Kleiner is an agent of some sort :rolling:, he might've been put in a statis as well. How else do you explain why Kliener mysteriously kept Lamar. How else do you explain the feeling that Kleiner always appears a little more mysterious than he should, like how he never mentioned G-Man. Kleiner probably even knew Eli was going to die, thats why he decided not to accompany them since he doesn't want to "say goodbye".

Not to be taken seriously though, and sorry for off topic.

Kleiner is probably late 40's in HL then mid 60's in HL2.

And he got Lamarr from some back alley or somewhere, he doesn't have to get headcrabs just from Black Mesa. They are everywhere.

Hl1 27+2 days
HL2 27+4 days
EP1 27+5 days
Ep2 27+6 days
That is my theory

damn that would be one hell of a week :rolling: :O

another thing is notice how everyone aged in HL2 since HL1. While Freeman was in the stasis Alyx grew up. Remember them saying how she was little when Black Mesa incident happened. But from HL2 to Ep. 2 its only been a matter of days if not hours. Im sure not much will change in Ep. 3 because im sure it will pick right where it EP 2 ended.

Nope. No dependants. He might have a niece though.

Always made me wonder what his parents were like.

I would be shocked and awed if Gordon's father actually struck a deal with the Gman, long before the events of halflife

NO! BAD! No more GMan theories!

I don't recall any period of four months during World War II where the Allies and Axis said "**** it, I'm sick of fighting, let's just chill for a while".

I chuckled.

Gorden is 27 at the beginning of Half-Life. about 1 day passes from the start to finish then he is put into stasis until Half-Life 2. About 10 days pass in Half-Life 2 (mainly due to the slow transport), about another 1 day in Episode 1 and lets say another day for Episode 2. So unless Gorden's birthday was less than 2 weeks from the start of Half-Life, physically Gorden would still be 27 at the start of Episode 3. As for Gorden's actual age we need to take into account the time he spent in stasis which is between 10 and 20 years. As of yet no one really knows the true length of time. So his actual age taking into account the time passed during the games, stasis and depending when his birthday is, is between 37 and 48 at the start of Episode 3. That is assuming that the time spent in stasis wasn't less then 10 years and wasn't more than 20 years. Also its assuming that Gorden didn't age at all during the stasis. There are other factors we could look into like did time pass at the same rate on Xen due to lower gravity or different laws of physics and dose the multiple teleportation portles that Gorden traveled through during the games have any effect on his age as traveling at great speeds may slow time for the traviler?. Anyway the low down from all this (until we know any better) is...

Gorden's physical age is between 27 and 28.

(This is as close as we can get without knowing when Gorden's birthday is relative to the start of Half-Life.)

Gorden's actual age is between 37 and 48.

(This is as close as we can get without knowing the nature and exact length of time Gorden spent in stasis)

If Iv missed anything or got something wrong Id be glad the hear your views as long as they are researched and not just hot headed assumptions. Remember we are all Half-Life fans here and that means we are all totally awesome!!!!!

P.S maybe the health pools on Xen made him younger lol!!!!

i thought that you dont age in stasis :| :hmph:

Well It depends what kind of stasis he was in. Take cold stasis for example. If a body could be artificially kept alive in very low temperatures (just above freezing) the body's need to produce heat would drop, coursing the metabolic rate to almost seas, blood flow would slow along with brain activity and cell division its self in the body would slow down, effectively slowing the body's ageing proses to almost nothing, but not stopping it intierly.
on the other hand if a body was kept in sub zero temperatures (probably well into the minuses) then all of the body's functions would seas altogether allowing the body to be kept frozen for an undertermind length of time. In this case the stasis would only effect physical age and the body would still age year by year but with very low or no physical effects. no Im not saying that Gorden was froze during the time in stasis. Its probably more likely hes was in some other kind of stasis like a subspace void or something. The fact is we don't really know, but all Im saying is that just because Gorden was in stasis dosnt necessarily mean he didn't age at all.
