What a genious! :ONumber of times the Earth has been destroyed: 0
Somebody hasn't read The Hitchhickers Guide to the Galaxy series, *tsk, tsk*Number of times the Earth has been destroyed: 0
This is great!!How to Destroy the Earth said:Know your enemy
Wouldnt that require the same processes as necessary to destroy the earth? Would require slightly less effort i guess, but it'd take longer.TechnoHippyChic said:Yes, that was cool. I realized something after reading that but didn't send it in, doesn't really destroy Earth, but pretty much precludes most forms of life.
From what I've heard, the Earth's spin is regulated by the Moon. It's like they're forever entwined in a solar waltz. Except, it's not forever - the Moon is supposedly drifting away a little further all the time. If the Moon were to be destroyed or this process accellerated, the Earth would begin tumbling randomly, obliterating the seasons and night and day, etc. Polar one day, tropical the next. Trippy way to go, though :smoking:

Things which will NOT destroy the Earth
Gay marriage.
It depends on which type of time travel you believe in. IE: If he used the String Theory for time travel, then it would be possible.Qwert93 said:The time travel method is pretty impossible. If some guy went back in time and bomb the earth, he can't return to the present because he would have died. Think about it.
Just because he can't return to the present doesn't mean it can't be done.Qwert93 said:The time travel method is pretty impossible. If some guy went back in time and bomb the earth, he can't return to the present because he would have died. Think about it.

Qwert93 said:No, what I mean is that if he destroy the earth in the past, he would not exist( as well as the whole human race and other animals). So, he couldn't actually go back in time and plant the bomb. See?
Ritz said:Humans are allready destroying the world... Dont need to do anything more then what we are doing now.
Datrix said:People, you're forgetting the String Theory. Basically you jump into a universe (string) that is almost exactly identical to ours, except running in a different timeline. So If you destroyed Earth, only the Earth in that string would be gone. Then you would simply jump back into a string that was similar to our original one, thus you would have destroyed the Earth without harming yourself. Although in this time travelling theory, there is billions of other Earths all on different strings that would need to be destroyed.
