Imma go play airsoft with some folks on saturday, and need to lube up my gun. Well, I guess I don't NEED to, since the gun is still lubed fairly nicely when you take it apart, but it's been unlubed for at least 3 years, so i'd like to do it anyway, before sloshing it through dirt.
Anyway, I used to use this little bottle of silicone oil that I got at a gun store, but well... I've lost it. I have a can of General Purpose Silicone Spray though, and was wondering if that'd work ok. I know I know, WD40 is a no no, but I thought that this might be similar to what I was using before.
The bottle itself says it can be used for Automotive, Home, or Sports purposes, sports including lubricating firearms and fishing equipment.
So, do you think this'd be ok to use in my gun?
