Planes don't bother me. Easy way to stop them, get a sniper on a hill with the M95 near their airbase and just shoot them when they jump in. It's great how they always complain about not being able to whore it up in their jet. Unfortunatly, the commander will usually just run a satalite scan and then drop artty on your head.

That's another thing that needs to be fixed. A satalite scan should never pick up a sniper and a UAV scan should never pick up a prone sniper.

Nope, UAV's get them. It's the satelite scans that don't.

it's even harder to use the chopper. The plane took me like 20 minutes to figure out, it took a lot longer for the chopper. I still have a hard time finding good chopper pilots. We get missle lock and they don't even try and dodge it. They make HUGE turns just to do a 180. Some people don't realize choppers can go backwards also *gasp*

I can't do the keyboard thing, just can't get it down, and the mouse just..yeah. no. I'm still not great with the joystick, I can't do ANYTHING NEAR what he does. The lining up, turning a bit, shooting down a heli, yeah. Not the kind of jaz I can do

That would suck majorly. One team having all the cappable flags and waiting for a commander sniper to move, while he is camping somewhere. The scan would be useless in that case.

but snipers cant fight! unarmoured, really obvious when on the move (its a big walking hedge ffs :E), with a slow firing undynamic weapon
a bog standard team could take 'em - even if they didnt appear on radar

seriously, before i got bored i was in the 600's with the sniper kit (sure it's not THAT impressive but still). It's easy 1 hit kills if you can find the right spot. Kubra dam was the best...

Yeah, but once you figure out the general area the sniper is firing at, you just radio in to your team to stay away from there, then get your medic and regroup.

Yeah..snipers really aren't all that impressive. I usually tell them to change kits if they are in my squad, because they don't help the team at all imho. Sure they can spot out people, but really, that extra body in my squad could be something infanately more times important, like a medic or another AT.

yea snipers are squad people. They just kinda hang around and shoot stuff that wonders past them. Of course you don't shoot at everything, but most things.
