How to set the crosshair size in counterstrike source

By default for some reason its cl_crosshairsize 3and I don't want to type in each time cl_crosshairsize 6becoz its annoying. is there anyway to make it automatic? I have tried going in to properties and pressing set launch options and writing -crosshairsize 6 but it doesnt make a difference

Yes, you need to make an autoexec.cfg file and put it into your counter-strike source\cstrike\cfg folder.
In the file simply type the commands you want.

To make this file just open up notepad, type the command, and save it as autoexec.cfg in that folder.

Mine always stayed as I set it :S

I always used cl_crosshairscale # (think it was cl_). Always stayed at whatever number I set it at.

cl_crosshairscale is no longer used.
