How would you feel if Gabe Newell died in a car wreck tomorrow? I'm just saying this as a "what if" thing. This hasn't happened and I think we all wish Mr. Newell the best of health, or at least we don't wish him any harm. Would you be sad ? Would you really care? Would you only be concerned about it if the Half-Life 2 release date was affected?

Well, he has many times before. I would care, but I definatly wouldn't kill myself/go nuts. Why? It's a video game. I am not obsessive over games.

It would be a sad day for the gaming world. Without Gabe's vision and the pursuit of that vision with HL, it's unlikely that we would be enjoying the high level of gaming experience we presently do. HL² looks to be another game that is going to push the envelope, which can only be good for everyone.

No but honeslty Gabe's a good guy, but I mean you look at him you know he needs to lose some girth. It's not healthy for him, and I for one think he should try to lose some of it. He'd probably live longer and helthier if he did.
