some very interesting stuff here

Mechagodzilla would probably best at deciphering all this information but it looks to me that Gothic3 will offer many of the same things that Oblivion will ..the more I see of this game the more I want it

Nice. Saw that earlier when only a few of the questions were answered. This is much more thorough. Sounds very much like a worthy rival to Oblivion in most cases and that can only be a good thing.

This in particular sounds terrific. One of the reasons I am looking forward to Oblivion too: Freedom!
The Hero will be mired in an epic adventure and it should not be about the player who goes to sleep in his own bed. We enjoy much more the solution of being offered a place to sleep at friendly guilds or being on a kind of suvival-training where the player has to win the grace of a friendly host (or his scalp).

I took a look at that when they first started. Very nice to see it is constantly being updated.

I like the idea of how they are going to handle upgrades in sword fighting skills. In the previous two games there were two major improvements you could achieve where the character would suddenly see a drastic improvement in the kind of moves and combos they can use. It will be nice to actually customize these combos now.

Gothic 3, Oblivion, NWN2, WOW expansion, I am going to be in RPG heaven this year. :D

ya I'm putting away the old six shooter and sticking with mostly rpg's this year ..nothing but ET:QW interests me fps wise

Used to love shooters, and it's a strange turn of events, but that's pretty much how I feel too. I'm tired of the same old stagnant and rehashed run 'n gun, rinse and repeat formula of the last coupla years. There's just nothing new happening to fps's, so bring on Oblivion and Gothic3. Just those 2 will carry me through the rest of the year on their own.
