MIAMI, Florida (CNN) -- Gov. Jeb Bush ordered the Florida Keys evacuated in anticipation of Tropical Storm Rita, which was forecast to become a hurricane Tuesday morning.

A mandatory evacuation order was issued for the Keys, and a voluntary evacuation was issued for Miami-Dade County's barrier islands and low-lying areas, he announced Monday.

We've (Florida) been hit by several Hurricanes one after another, not a whole lot of damage caused (at least not in comparison to New Orleans).

I don't think Katrina should 'warn' us of anything, people are just suddenly taking hurricanes more seriously because a handful of engineers failed to realize bigger hurricanes existed.

I just wait 30 minutes in line to get gas for my car before it skyrockets.

Apparently its already gone up to 1.75$ (Canadian) a litre in Niagara Falls, and people are going nuts to get gas while its still cheap (99 cents right now). I just filled up, every gas station is crazy, with people trying to fill their tanks before stupid hurricane hits and stupid gas price skyrockets again.
