HWY 17 buggy jump difficulty

I am unable to jump the ramp above the beach soon after you get the buggy and flip it over. I hit Turbo (SHIFT) at different points while speeding toward the ramp, but it always slams into the bridge on the other side.
Tired of falling to the botom and starting over.
Any tips?

just hold shift and accelerate over the ridge...there really isnt much else to it

I cant see how you can have any possible difficulty , most people have done it first try. It sounds like you are not holding turbo long enough though.

Yeah try holding down shift instead of (I'm assuming) tapping it.

I don't think you have to hold it down. I think you just press it about 10 feet before the ramp comes.

Right, but keep holding down the "W" key after you activate turbo for more consistent speed.

Type in noclip, then impulse 82 in the console.

Got past it. I wasn't properly engaging turbo. Now I can see when it is turned on and the buggy really moves!
