I've always wanted to go up against tons of monsters without it being so generic, this game looks like it'd have a decent amount of variety and characters too

Especially the "living city" part sounds like it could be good, i.e. that the NPC humans(incase you were playing monster) would dynamically react to you, setting up ambushes etc, and vice versa if playing as a human.

I am particularly fascinated by the idea of a "Godzilla"-style game where both your sides and the enemy takes actions completely independently of yourself(The player!)
