Hey, you know the famous upside down y symbol (lambda) used to denote half life? well, it isn't the actual symbol for half life. lambda is used for the decay constant = 0.69...
Half life = 0.69/lambda

Hahaha. Cringeworthy nerdiness I know. I am expecting the
"WHO THE **** CAReS ABOut THis ****? ******* ****"
kinds of posts.

Ooh, ooh, the sky is blue....oh and grass is green....and and, the wind blows

Really, you're stating the obvious, anyone who does any physics will come across the lambda sybol at one point

Haha. I could have the ultimate sh1t-thread with people flaming me by quote only.

It's λ, not an upside down y.

It also means 'wavelength' in equations to do with waves. Hence the popular Half-Life site called 'Wavelegth'.

It's also the name of a subatomic particle.
