Dear all,
I would like to know is there any way to transffer information
from the PC game ( Half life2 ) to the serial port ( RS232 )
Particulary I would like to get indication when the bullet shoot the basic player
I am looking for the software solution !!!

I expect he is trying to output to an LED screen or some such.

I wouldn't have any idea on the actual coding, but either you will have to create a "mod" so you can change the code, or otherwise "hook" into the engine. Hooking is fine for single player, but if you do it in a multiplayer game, it may get picked up by VAC as a cheat.

I would assume it would be for external hit indicator, like leds or a vest or maybe alternate inputs like a light gun for hl2 :-p

I know from experience, you would need to incorperate a driver, because Win XP, 2000, and ME have security features that only allow the kernel to access ports directly.
