Hmm, you seem to be the kind of kid who should spend more time in school, rather than complaining that someone hasn't entertained you today...
 
Erm, until now only the preloading of CS:S beta has been delayed, not CS:S and of course not Half-Life 2.
 
yeah cause no other game has been delayed for around a year..(look at hallife1,doom3, halo2, halo1, etc etc etc)

Forgot to add, the leak wasn't the reason for the delay anyway, they even said themselves that they never would of met their Sept 30th release date.

Valve didnt lie. If you cant make a deadline, its a delay, not a lie.

I'm from Sweden and even i know, with my engrish, the difference between delays and lies.

Hey, ^half-life^, haven't you noticed that you're pretty much one of the ONLY people who are being little pissants and flaming VALVe? Sure there are some other people, but whatever..not my point.. I'm disappointed that they have pushed it back so far, but hey, what can they do?

What would YOU do if you were a game developer, and Hackers took all of your codes, and had to recompile? I'd say I would tell the community that anonymous hackers have leaked HL2, and we'd have to take several more months to get it ready.

By then, if we didn't have it done, because we found some more bugs and errors (which VALVe did) I would say, NO we're not releasing it yet.


I'm not sick of VALVe. I can deal with waiting.. It's a game. Patience is a virtue.

Just because VALVe has to delay something, it doesnt mean its their fault.

So stop your bitching, ^half-life^, and forget it. If you are sick of VALVe, why not just ****ing switch from VALVe fanatic, to some body else.

In my own opinion, I think VALVe is doing the best they can. If you don't think so, then don't bother staying on this forum, and go find some other forum to bug, and don't bother waiting on HL2, if you are sick of VALVe.

and i also respect the fact that valve want's the game the way that they want and not rushed out.
and also yes i know it is just a game but it is MINDBLOWING :afro:

Ok maybe he didnt say it in the best possible way, but i understand. I wish that valve would just work on the game and then release it. I dont care about new vids, img ect ect, just get the game out. plus every fails to remember that doug L did lie before, when theres no reason too. if its not done just say so, the HL community will understand.

I dont even bother knowing when HL2 is gonna get released. Ill buy it somewhere in october, maybe later, but i find it cool to talk to people who love this game. ( some love it way too much, its a game! )

So i dont really care what Valve is saying. But i hope for you guys they release it ASAP. :)

I just hope I can raise enough money to buy HL2..I dont think my parents will buy me a game..especially since i just got a guitar..

yeah, well he learned his lesson didn't he? and constantly flaming him is gonna do nothing but make him defensive, and in no way solves the original problem in the first place.
