I' am stuck at the lighthouse (cliff path) Please help

I beat the gunship on top of the light house, then I proceeded back down to the place where my buggy was in that garage and the guy there says "come with me Dr. Freeman, before another one of those ships comes, we'll take the cliff path"... then after that he doesn't move, he just stands there.

If I exit the garage and come back in sometimes he says come on dr. freeman come with me. But the guy doesn't move. What is wrong??

It's just a scripting glitch, I'll help before people start acusing you of having a warez version.
Either:
Load an earlier save
Kill yourself to load a quick/auto save
Type 'restart' into the console
Type 'map d2_coast_11' into the console. It will bring you to the next map (your pritty much finished that one)

Why do people run all the way back to the garage ffs? The exit's in the lighthouse basement.
