Thanks for all your responses guys... It makes me sad to read them but better at the same time to feel some empathy.
I know she's not liking it out there. She is only a pet parrot, has no idea what she's doing out there nor how to fly properly in the open air (with lots of wind, too), when I saw her she was pretty high and flying around sort of randomly, being taken by the winds. Unless she's got some sort of instinct I'm sure she doesn't know how to get food... I mean it's not like she would rather be out there than here. She loved us and we loved her. I know parrots can't really "love" but she got lots of attention, and food, and she would come to us to get her neck scratched and just be near her.
On my way to school this morning every time I saw a bird flying out of the corner of my eye my head would snap to it. I don't really put much hope at all to finding her, all I want to do is get through the pain.
