Could do it whereby you pick which HL2 character you want to be from a list BUT some only become unlocked after particular levels...or have a rep. system where users can reward useful posters. just my $0.02

I was like 10 posts away from becoming a Prowler instead of a newbie and they did away with it. I never said anything until now, but I think we should bring it back. It just made things more interesting. Someone with 1,000 posts has the same title as someone with 20,000.

I think it'd be cool if we could choose an affiliation of sorts. Like if you want to be on the "Good" side, you could get names like Vortigaunt, Rebel, Vance, that kind of thing. "Bad" members get Headcrab, Strider, Bullsquid, etc. That mght be fun.
