I designed a DVD cover for Steam backups

pretty nice man, ive seen some nice ones, thats one of the nicer ones though, real gj.

Very nicely done, like the faded look of the Citadel in the background and combine soldier in front.

Pretty good, but i'm getting retail and I got the steam package.

That is real nice, It combined all the things I wanted on the cover. The Citadel and the Combine Cop. The back is real nice too, class A work my friend, Class A.

pretty impressive :)
any more links to dvd covers? i'd like to see more.

Really nice, can u adjust it including Counter Strike Source ?

very nice, that's the one i'll be using :)

It's very nice. Just a couple of things, too many VALVe logos and it's a bit hard to read the Half-Life 2 text over the orange logo. Might consider revising it.

I will definately use that one for my backups. As been said: CLASS A work!

Keep it up, very nice!

Just in case you care...
I definitely care... Since I bought steam package, I have been looking for a good cover, and this is the one. THANKS!!

I'm making a disc cover, and probably an inner insert design as well.

As to the problem of too many VALVe logos: should I replace the one on the spine with the Steam logo? Or should I remove the VALVe logo from the front?

And would it help the HL2 logo if the text had a white glow around it?

I will be running this through the color laser printer where I work.

Thanks. It looks good.

Not bad. However, I don't like the out of focus background on the front cover. It makes the entire picture look fuzzy. I know what you were trying for, but I don't think it worked.

I think im gonna wait till the game is out, and get some charecter grabs with the model viewer.

I think the Combine should be faded just a hint, to blend more in with the rest of the picture. Other than that, it looks really good.
