I finished it! (SPOILERS!!!!)

I just beat it a few minutes ago. Fontaine was a lame boss. He does only two things, shoot fire/ice/electricity ball, then do a straight foreward charge. Basically, if you can strafe then you win.

I got the good ending too, and it made me feel happy. Awesome ending. The little sisters jumping on Fontaine's back and sticking him with all the needles was strangely satisfying. I just wish they rolled the credits afterwards, as some sort of closure, because it dumps you right back to the main menu which is kind of jarring.

Also, I wish that it had some down time and civilized areas. I find it hard to believe that a huge city like that would only have like 5 sane people left out of the entire population. There should have been a town-like area where survivors came together to fortify an area and make do.

Anyways, awesome game. One of my favorites in recent years.

just finished it tonight after not being playing for awhile, after defeating Ryan last week i thought maybe the game was nearly over, but it went on which was great, it went on quite a bit actually which is nice for games these days, i got the good ending so now i'm gona replay it for the bad one. Amazing game, almost unparelleled atmosphere.

and personally it was awesome to have an irish central character in a game despite what we find out later in the game(being fontaine).

Game was a blast. I know there's a ton of harvest/rescue vids out there, but I was putting together some clips to show the game to some friends and harvested a little sister that came out kind of cool. In an area where those spotlights follow you so the lighting just made it extra creepy.

finished it finally last night. Best Game i have played since HL2. I got the good ending, i felt like crying, but then again, i was high as always. I saved every little sister since the beginning. I has a family now!

lol you guys don't think Ryan is dead? The concept of the vita chambers doesn't even make much sense, so you die and what? Teleport? Kind splicer carries you over? I'm glad Ryan is dead, turning you into what you are and killing you're mom just for not using protection. Insane SOB, needed a golf club in the head. A sequel I don't think is really going to happen on this game. There's two endings and unless you definitely chose the bad one (BS 2: conquer the world?), there's nothing left to do.

After finding out about Ryan/Atlas i decided i preffered Ryan and felt oddly sorry for him :|

Got the bad ending, but did save all the Little Sisters after you go to their orphanage
:(

Yeah that cut-scene varies as does the ending. I'm sure you got the sisters saying "he's the bad man" and "he's the one who hurts us"? If you've rescued all of them to that point you get "he's the one who helps us", etc.

Something else I didn't notice the first play through was this room. There's probably a diary explaining it but forgot to check. Only place I ever saw dead sisters from what I can remember.

Fontaine was WAY too easy. He only hit me once, and I was circle-strafing him with the wrench!

The whole scene before you met Ryan and find out who Atlas is etc. When he started talking about those 3 words, and they did those quick flashbacks, ist the first game ive played where the story made me say 'oh..my...god' out loud.

It was just...perfection. Ive never played a story so...so...indepth and detailed before.

Being a bih daddy was a laugh. I saved all but 1 little sister the whole game so got the 'nice' ending.
