I had a dream I played HL2..

I've heard others say they've dreamt about playing HL2.

I just had one myself last night.

In my dream I had downloaded a leaked HL2 package, but it was in some developers pack. I thought it was a fake, but figured out how to load a map and started playing,.. then I was in the game. It took me a while to figure out what the hell was going on. I was in a room, and I think Father Gregory was there. I then sensed that headcrabs were going to start popping out of the walls and the Combine forces were just outside. It was amazing. I freaked out and quit the game instantly. I didn't want to spoil the experience on a half-assed release. What a nightmare that would be!

Thank god for Steam. :thumbs:
Heres to Nov 16th!

Previously I had a dream that I saw HL2 move into "My Games" in Steam, but that was it. Weak! If you had a real dream reguarding HL2, feel free to share it here.
 
I can already see it... someone's gonna come in here saying you have no life if you dream of hl2.

Anyway, i did dream about hl2 once, but i don't remember anything about it. :|

I had a dream once that I had bought the manipulator gun in CS:S for $10,000 and grabbed hold of a load of barrels then spammed de_dust with them... :smoking:

It was pretty cool :sniper:
 
I remember dreaming about it... I don't remember the dream though. I know there were zombies involved...
 
The night CS:Source beta came out (I think), I had a dream that I was pushing around a barrel.
 
I have had.. 3 dreams of HL2.

I am too tired to go into detail..

The first one I had was me going through what looked like the inside of the building in Ravenholm. But this was before E3 2004 :O
I wasn't shooting... I was sneaking around the combine...

The second involved me in a buggy, cruising around this beautiful green cliff area. Running over antlions and stuff... It was nice...

The third was of the town-ish area of the cliffside part of HL2.. Just different views of it being shown.. Then I found myself with some other resistance fighters, and we were ready to fight or something..

I think I like the cliffside area a little too much... :p
 
I dreamed I was in HL2. Apparently I dreamed that the train ride was not the intro to HL2. I started in some canyon area on the outskirts of the city and had to fight my way to a train station to get to the city. My sister was also there getting attacked by headcrabs, and I had to shoot them off. It was pretty tight.

Ok, I can affect the contents of my subconsious. But I didn't choose to dream about HL2.

Thats what I loved about Far Cry. There were parts of that game where I just wanted to sit down and have a picnic. We play to escape and experience, so its cool to get that vacation vibe going sometimes, instead of always living in fear.

Sounds epic, really. I'm guessing shes your younger sister.

Thanks for sharing, guys. I love analysing dreams and trying to interpret meaning. Theres a lot of symbolism and truth in dreams if you know how to see it.

Please add more dreams.

i had a weird one
i think i was in ravenholm or something dunno where really
i had the manipulator out, then i tried to switch weapons
but when i tried to switch to a different weapon, it just switched to parts of the manipulator, like it had been taken apart, and i was holding individual parts...
kinda weird...
 
Well i had a dream that i flew to see gabe at the airport and had to help him finish the game, but he had lost the key to his office where the pc that would finish it was. Some how he found it and we started work but i pressed the wrong button and we were sucked into a mmorpg and we were ganked and killed by a hillbilly family who had a T-rex as a pet. It was fun

When they themselves are spending their time in front of a computer, typing extra letters that they don't need to...
 
2 nights ago, I had this dream where I started in this dock-like area with what looked like some HL2 weapon. all of a sudden a bunch of resistance fighters came up to aid me, I saw that squad damge counter thing and I was like, sweet! we started shooting the combine and i think i shot some barrel into a guy and he flew into the water or something. it ended by me jumping into the water cause i wanted to replay that scene. haha

damn i'm obsessed. i can barely work or concentrate in school. no game has ever done this to me.

I haven't had a dream about a game in a long time, but when I did once or twice, like sometime a year or two ago I was dreaming I was playing CS. nothing special though,
 
Yeah. I also dreamt about hl2 a few days ago. Granted I was just running around as Gordon in a room filled with computers....

There was only me there at any rate.. and all the computers...

Oh well.. once I left they were all smashed and on the floor, And I clearly remember going "WoW, look at these physics!!" during my wonderfull dream ;p
 
I had a dream: There was a store that was releasing the game earlier. I was happy and bought it in the spot. I had to drive 30 miles to get home. I've turned on the PC and grabbed the game's DVD to start installing it. It instaled and when I was about to start playing it... I woke up.
 
i had a dream of playing hl2, but then it was shattered when i realised i was watching in-game footage...

i was at the coast bit but i did it a different way and then it went to third person and i was watching me play and then i woke up

Dunno; she used to be in the fan art section of the site 8 months ago or so, dunno if that section even exists anymore.

lol you guys have overactive minds! Although I did have a dream recently were I fell over in the middle of the road and couldn't get up so I had to roll out of the way of all the oncoming traffic :|.
 
I had my first and only HL2 dream the night before Doom 3 came out. It seemed to say "don't even bother".
